I had already eaten earlier, so this stop was purely for desserts and a short coffee break rather than a full meal. The Ara Damansara outlet felt calm and comfortable, a nice place to sit down quietly with cakes.

ZUS Coffee Birthday Promo Details
For birthday month members, ZUS Coffee offers a Buy 1 Free 1 cake voucher. The voucher appears automatically in the ZUS Coffee app under the Rewards section.
Here’s how it works:
- Valid for 31 days from your birthday
- Must select at least 2 cake slices
- The cheaper cake will be waived
- No need to purchase drinks
- Available for pickup or delivery
- Valid at regular ZUS Coffee outlets only
- Not applicable at ZUS Signature or ZUS Coffee Meets Pastry
What I Ordered
I chose two cake slices:
- Ubi Misu
- Chocolate Kunda Cake
The original total for both cakes was RM29.40. After applying the birthday voucher, RM13.50 was deducted. The final amount paid was RM15.90.
Payment was made via Touch ‘n Go eWallet, and since this was pickup, there was no delivery fee.
Cake Review
The Ubi Misu was light and creamy, with a mild sweet potato flavour that wasn’t overly sweet. It felt balanced and easy to finish.
The Chocolate Kunda Cake was richer and denser, more suitable if you enjoy stronger chocolate flavours, especially when paired with coffee.
Both cakes were packed neatly with wooden cutlery, making it easy to dine in or tapao.
Is It Worth Redeeming?
For a birthday reward, this ZUS Coffee promo is genuinely useful. Paying RM15.90 for two cake slices feels reasonable, especially when cake prices usually range between RM13 to RM16 per slice.
The redemption process is straightforward, the voucher works smoothly, and you don’t need to force yourself to buy drinks just to use the reward.
Different year, different outlet, but still a solid birthday deal from ZUS.
