During the afternoon, I went to Wa Taiwan ι˜ΏεŽε°ι£Ÿι¦† to redeem one of the more generous birthday promos I have seen recently. If you like Taiwanese-style comfort food, this one is quite straightforward and worth taking note.

For their birthday promo, Wa Taiwan offers a FREE Taiwanese Chicken Chop, with no minimum spend required. The only thing is that rice and drinks need to be purchased separately if you wish to top up.

πŸ— What I Ordered

The Taiwanese Chicken Chop came crispy on the outside, with juicy meat inside. Seasoning was quite generous and leaned towards the classic Taiwanese night market style.

Since rice and drinks are not included, I added:

  • Pearl white rice
  • Hot jasmine tea

Even with the add-ons, the total bill was still very affordable. In the end, I paid RM10.20 including service charge and SST, which is quite reasonable considering the chicken chop itself was free.

If you are already nearby or planning a birthday food hunt, this is definitely worth redeeming. A free RM17.90 chicken chop with no minimum spend is not something you see very often.
