During the night, I had a gathering with my cousin, and we decided to have dinner at Tsuyoi Sushi Japanese Restaurant at Faber Plaza, Taman Desa. When we arrived, the place was packed, so we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table.
After browsing the menu, we picked our own sets.
I went for the Chisai Salmon Chirashi To Udon Zen set. The food took 25 minutes to be served.
We also ordered some sushi, and their salmon sushi stood out with a generous portion and beautiful presentation.
Overall, I would rate my experience 8 out of 10. The food was good, and the price was quite affordable, especially if you are a small eater who can share a set with a partner. If I am not mistaken, they seem to have rebranded from “Tsuyoi Japanese Western Restaurant” to “Tsuyoi Sushi”. I am pretty sure I have eaten here before, but I just can’t recall exactly when.
Our final bill came up to RM170.50, and since my cousin’s friend paid upfront, it averaged out to around RM34+ per person.
For now, I still prefer Sushiro since they are having a promo, but I would definitely return to Tsuyoi Sushi once the promo ends!
