I visited Tous Les Jours Sunway Pyramid today to claim their birthday month treat, and it turned out to be one of the easier birthday redemptions I’ve done. If it is your birthday month, you get to enjoy a free sliced cake together with an Americano or tea.

Upon arriving at the counter, I told the staff that I wanted to use the birthday voucher from the TLJ website, and the staff informed me that I could choose a slice of cake along with a coffee or tea based on the menu below.
I picked the Signature Fresh Cream Cake and paired it with an Iced Earl Grey Tea.
The sliced cake was soft, light and not overly sweet. It came with fresh cream and a small strawberry on top.
The Iced Earl Grey Tea used Twinings tea and tasted very refreshing, especially when paired with the cake. It felt like a comfortable teatime treat at a good value for the birthday month.
The Sunway Pyramid outlet is spacious and bright with a large display of whole cakes and pastries.
They also have festive sets and buy 1 free 1 promos for some items, so if you enjoy browsing bakeries, this outlet is quite fun to walk around. I noticed their premium gift selection shelves and several seasonal cakes on display too.
If you are celebrating your birthday month, you only need to sign up, and the birthday voucher will appear automatically. Just show it to the cashier before payment. It is valid for the whole birthday month, so you can choose any day to enjoy your free slice and drink.
The actual bill came to around RM22.90 in total, but I did not need to pay anything.
I am grateful for it because there was no minimum spend required. It feels like a small blessing, especially for those of us who celebrate our birthday month alone as we grow older.
Overall, this is a good birthday perk to claim if you like cakes or want a quiet cafe moment. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend dropping by during your birthday month, especially at the Sunway Pyramid outlet where the seating is comfortable.
