During the afternoon, I stumbled upon the birthday promo for Silver Bird Hong Kong while checking my food apps and decided to go for it since there were still a few rewards left to claim.
I chose the LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre branch, mainly because it is quite convenient and I had not visited this outlet yet.

Getting There
It took me around 20 minutes drive from Old Klang Road to reach LaLaport. Upon arrival, there was a Pikachu event happening on the ground floor, so the mall was quite lively and crowded.
Finding Silver Bird was easy for me. The restaurant is located at Level 1, with a very eye-catching green Hong Kong style storefront.
What I Ordered
After being seated, I ordered a simple dish:
- Yangzhou Fried Rice
The waiting time was around 20 minutes, which was acceptable considering the crowd.
Taste wise, I personally enjoyed it. The fried rice came with a generous amount of prawns, and the flavour was balanced, not overly oily. For a casual Hong Kong style meal, it did the job.
Final Bill and Promo Used
Here is where the promo became interesting.
- Original bill: RM11.90
- Birthday promo: 20% off
- Welcome voucher: RM5 off
Since my bill amount was not high, I decided to use the RM5 welcome voucher instead of the birthday 20% discount. In the end, I only paid RM8 nett, including service charge and SST.
For a dine-in meal at LaLaport, I would say this is quite worth it.
