During the night, I finished work, and by the time I checked the clock, it was already 11:40 PM. I started searching for food nearby and found out that Sungai Besi Wan Tan Mee was still open until midnight, which perfectly suited my KL supper food hunt. It only took me a 15-minute drive from Old Klang Road, and once again, I enjoyed the peaceful midnight drive with no cars around.

I arrived at Sg. Besi Wan Tan Mee at Chan Sow Lin, KL, around midnight and noticed there was still quite a crowd.

I ordered a big plate of Char Siu (pork) Wan Tan Mee from the menu, priced at RM11, and added two “Sui Kao” (Chinese dumplings).

The dumplings arrived first, and they tasted pretty good.

Then came the Char Siu Wan Tan Mee. The sauce was a bit plain for my liking, but the Char Siu pork was flavorful and satisfying.

The final bill came to RM14.70 for everything, and I paid using Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

Just a heads-up: they’ll be closed during the Chinese New Year 2025 period, from January 28th to February 2nd, and will reopen on February 3rd.

Overall, I would rate this place 7.8 out of 10 stars and will definitely return since they’re open until midnight.
