It’s late at night, and I’ve just wrapped up my Web3 trading activities. Coincidentally, it’s also Christmas night. Feeling hungry, I searched Google for nearby BBQ buffets and discovered Zui Ai Shao Kao BBQ restaurant. Before heading over, I called the owner to check if dining alone was allowed since most buffets usually have a minimum requirement of two people. To my relief, the owner said it was fine for one person.
Upon arrival, the staff informed me that the seafood dinner buffet cost RM59.90 per person, with an additional RM10 charge if you wanted to include a steamboat option. There was a wide variety of seafood to choose from, including prawns, squid, crabs, fish, crayfish, oysters, clams, and many more.
It took me about an hour to finish all the items I had taken. Among the selection, I found the oysters and squid to be the most worth it. Typically, three pieces of oysters alone would cost over RM10, so if you can manage a few rounds of them, it’s definitely worth the money.
The final bill came to RM74.10 after tax. If I visit again, I think I’ll skip the broth soup, as the BBQ alone was more than enough to satisfy my experience.
Without a doubt, it’s a great spot to hang out with friends for supper if you’re in the KL area, especially since it’s open until midnight 12am.
