During the afternoon, I went back to browse Funhub again since the Grab weekend dine-out promo is no longer available. While scrolling, I found a deal offering up to 66% off at Ratatouille Gourmet in Taman OUG.
I gave them a call again to confirm if there was any catch to claim the RM5 promo voucher I bought from the app, and they said nope. It only took me about 9 minutes to drive there since I was nearby. When I arrived, the surrounding environment felt cozy.
There were a few other options to choose from, like Nasi Lemak Chicken, Spaghetti Aglio Pork, tea, and dessert. In the end, I went with the Spaghetti Aglio Pork.
There was no catch when it came to redeeming the deal. I just handed my app to the waiter and let them key in the code. (Just noticed that they added a remark stating that redemption is not allowed on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.)
I waited around 15 minutes for the spaghetti to be served.
The spaghetti tasted surprisingly good, even though I’m usually not a spaghetti person. But since it’s a Western-focused restaurant, no harm giving it a try.
While I was there, I also registered as a member on their app and noticed a promo for 10 free coffee vouchers, as well as a slice of the cake of the day as a birthday voucher.
I asked the waiter if there was a catch, and she said I just needed to buy something first before using the voucher. She also mentioned that their coffee is something special. So I paid RM10 for a bowl of mushroom soup and redeemed one of the free coffee.
The mushroom soup was nice, and the coffee wasn’t bad either.
I just considered it RM5 each for both items, even though technically the coffee was free.
According to the menu, this Aglio Pork pasta costs RM16. But since I used the RM5 Funhub voucher, I just handed them my app to key in the code, and the final bill came out to RM0, as shown below.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely come back again.
