Late at night, I decided to have my “supper” at OHO Thai Mookata & Bar. I booked the midnight slot for an upper-deck table through the Inline app, just like my experience at 凤王府 (FWF) Hotpot in Pearl Point, and received the confirmation below.
I left at around 1:24 AM, and the drive took just 12 minutes from my location.
Once again, I enjoyed the midnight cruise—no traffic, and the roads were quiet due to Chinese New Year. Upon arrival, the atmosphere felt cozy, with a variety of unique decorations.
The staff introduced me to two buffet options, including their CNY Special promo: the Porky Heaven unlimited refill buffet, featuring 30 different pork belly flavors. The pricing and time slots were as follows:
- 5 PM – 7 PM / 10 PM – 4 AM → RM34.90+ per pax
- 7 PM – 10 PM → RM39.90+ per pax
For an additional RM15 per pax, you could enjoy unlimited refills on all à la carte menu items.
I opted for the Porky Heaven buffet, as it seemed more than enough for me. Naturally, I had to try every single flavor! The catch? Drinks weren’t included. I went for the cheapest option—a cup of Thai Pandan Water, priced at RM5.90.
After a 15-minute wait, the waiter served the first batch of 15 pork belly flavors.
She also reminded me that if I couldn’t finish everything I ordered, there would be a surcharge. I told him to hold off on the second batch until I was sure I could handle it.
My favorites? The Honey and Black Pepper flavors. It took me about an hour and a half to grill and eat the first 15 flavors, and by then, I was completely satisfied—no need for the second half.
The portion was just right for one person.
The final bill came to RM47.30 after tax.
One suggestion for them: offering unlimited Thai Pandan Water refills could definitely attract more customers and boost sales. Anyways, this place is perfect for supper since it stays open until 4 AM!
