During night, I met up with my cousin for a movie. It has been our yearly tradition to watch a film together during Chinese New Year, and this time, we chose Money Game$ (半斤百两) movie at GSC Mid Valley.
Before that, we decided to have dinner at Shen Heong Bak Kut Teh.
The restaurant is located in the same row as Lou Ban Cha Don (老板茶档). Upon arrival, we ordered three different dishes: their signature curry fish head, signature mushrooms, and claypot sweet potato leaves. All the food was served within 20 minutes.
Among the three dishes, I enjoyed their signature curry fish head the most. It had a rich santan (coconut milk) flavor, giving it a deep, creamy taste. I’d rate it 8 out of 10 stars.
The final bill came to RM138.
Unfortunately, there were no special promotions for this restaurant. However, if you’re dining here, their Signature Curry Fish is a must-try, especially if you’re coming with a group—it’s more worth it considering the slightly higher price.
