Lucky Mala Noodle The Gardens @ Birthday Promo

RM20 Birthday Voucher with Minimum Spend

I actually went to Lucky Mala Noodle 上上仟麻辣烫 at The Gardens Mall after receiving an SMS birthday notification on my phone. Since it was offering RM20 off for birthday month, I decided to drop by and redeem it while I was around Mid Valley.

I remember passing by this brand before, especially the Mid Valley outlet, and back then I recall you needed to register at the counter with your phone number before your birthday to be eligible. This time, the process was much easier and fully digital.

Birthday Promo Details at Lucky Mala Noodle

Based on my experience and checking online, Lucky Mala Noodle uses Mulah membership for their birthday rewards.

Here is how the birthday promo works:

  • RM20 birthday voucher
  • RM20 Minimum spend required
  • Voucher is sent via SMS or available in Mulah app
  • Valid during birthday month
  • Can be used for dine-in

I received the SMS and used it directly during checkout without any issue.

The outlet is easy to spot, with the bright pink Lucky Mala Noodle sign and a long ingredient counter at the front.

Ordering Process and Ingredients

Lucky Mala Noodle follows the usual mala pick-your-own-ingredients concept. You walk along the counter, choose your ingredients, then decide on:

  • Soup base
  • Spiciness level
  • Noodles or rice

I went with:

  • Original soup base
  • A mix of meat, mushrooms, vegetables, and tofu
  • Added a bowl of pearl rice

The ingredients looked fresh, and there was a wide variety to choose from, including sliced meats, fish balls, tofu, mushrooms, and vegetables.

Bill Breakdown with Birthday Voucher

Here is the breakdown from my visit:

  • Food subtotal: RM34.86
  • Mulah birthday voucher: -RM20.00
  • Service tax: RM0.89
  • Final amount paid: RM15.75

For a hot and filling mala meal at a mall location, paying under RM16 felt very reasonable.

Food Review

The original soup base was light and comforting, not overly spicy or oily. It worked well with the mixed ingredients and did not feel too heavy. Portion-wise, the bowl was generous, especially with the added rice. This is the kind of meal that keeps you full for hours. If you prefer something spicy, you can easily adjust the mala level, but for me, the original soup was a good balance.

Final Thoughts for KL Supper Readers

If you enjoy mala and your birthday month is coming up, Lucky Mala Noodle’s RM20 birthday voucher is definitely worth redeeming. Compared to some birthday promos that require high minimum spend, this one feels practical and easy to use, especially if you are already dining at The Gardens Mall or Mid Valley. For me, it was a spontaneous decision after seeing the SMS, and it turned into a satisfying birthday meal with solid savings.

One small note for next time, I might take around half of my usual portion instead. Since the birthday voucher is RM20 with a minimum spend, it was a bit hard to estimate the ingredients to land just slightly above RM20. I ended up taking more items than needed, but at least now I know roughly how much to pick for future visits.
