RM10 Birthday Voucher That Actually Works
After redeeming a few birthday promos around KL, I decided to use my KyoChon Chicken birthday voucher at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. I had three RM10 birthday vouchers available in my account, so I wanted to test whether it was really usable and worth writing about.

This visit was mainly to verify how the voucher works in real life, especially after seeing mixed comments online.
How to Get KyoChon Birthday Voucher
KyoChon Malaysia uses their own KyoChon 1991 loyalty program. Use my referral link to sign up for KyoChon 1991 and both of us will get 50 points:

Once you register as a member, you will receive RM10 birthday vouchers during your birthday month. In my case, I received three RM10 vouchers, but only one voucher can be used per bill.

Important notes based on my experience and the terms:
- Only 1 x RM10 voucher per receipt
- Valid for dine-in only
- Voucher expires after birthday month
- Cannot stack multiple birthday vouchers in one bill
My Order at KyoChon Pavilion Bukit Jalil
I ordered the Dosirak Series 2pcs Drumstick set, which came with:
- Steamed rice
- Fried egg
- 2pcs chicken nuggets
- Pickled radish
- Soy sauce chicken
The listed price for this set was RM22, which is a good sweet spot if you plan to use the RM10 voucher.

Bill Breakdown with Birthday Voucher
Here is the actual breakdown from my receipt:
- Food subtotal: RM22.00
- Birthday voucher: -RM10.00
- SST and service charge applied
- Final amount paid: RM13.15

For a mall outlet like Pavilion Bukit Jalil, paying RM13.15 for a full Korean chicken set felt quite reasonable.
Food Review

The soy sauce chicken drumsticks were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, which is what KyoChon does well. The portion size was filling enough for one person, especially with rice and egg included.
The dosirak set feels more like a proper meal compared to ordering chicken pieces on their own. It is also easier to estimate your spending if you want to stay close to the RM10 voucher value.
Is KyoChon Birthday Voucher Worth Using?
Yes, but with some expectations.
You are not getting a free meal, but the RM10 birthday voucher works, and that already puts KyoChon ahead of many birthday promos that come with too many restrictions.
My suggestion is to:
- Order items around RM20 to RM25
- Expect SST and service charge on top
- Use one voucher per visit if you have multiple vouchers
If you dine with friends, you can split bills and potentially use more than one voucher across different receipts.
Final Thoughts for KL Supper Readers
If KyoChon Chicken is already in your food rotation, their RM10 birthday voucher is definitely worth claiming. It is simple, usable, and does not force you to overspend. For me, it turned a RM22 meal into a RM13 lunch, which is still a win.
