It took me around 10 minutes to drive there. When I reached, I asked the staff how to redeem the promo and she said I can choose any meal, including the daily set meals after showing my IC.
I chose the Katsu Kake Udon Set since I prefer noodles more than rice. It was my first time dining here and the place felt cozy. I sat at the counter area where I could see the chefs preparing the food.
The waiting time was around 13 minutes for all the food to be served.
I added some condiments into the udon soup and also poured the cabbage salad dressing.
The udon tasted nice and the cabbage with the dressing was alright. The fried katsu was crispy but the taste was just okay. The dessert was also just okay and I was too full to finish it.
After that, the parfait was served.
It came with Ippudo ramen noodle chips which were quite hard to eat and felt more like decoration. The soft serve on top was mixed flavour. In the middle there was nata de coco and the base was creamy caramelized panna cotta. I only managed to eat halfway because I was too full.
The final bill was RM33.65 after using the RM5 discount. The calculation is RM34 minus RM5 equals RM29. After adding the SST the total became RM33.65.
Overall, the experience was fine but the portion was a lot for one person and you can buy their condiments if you like.
