During the evening, I continued to make use of Grab’s 30% Off CNY Deals, which will end on February 12th. While searching for nearby restaurants that accept this promo, I came across Fei Fei Crab at Arked Esplanad. The restaurant was eligible for the promotion, and I was immediately drawn to their crab meat homemade bean curd, which looked tempting in the pictures.
After calling to make a booking for 6 PM, I arrived within 16 minutes of driving, passing by Bloomsvale shopping mall along the way.
The interior of the restaurant looked cozy, but I chose to sit outside since the indoor area is usually meant for larger groups, and I was dining alone.
Once seated, the staff handed me the menu, which I found quite interesting as it displayed different crab sizes along with a “Hermes lookalike” tissue.
I ordered the sweet and sour pork and the crab meat homemade beancurd from the menu.
Both dishes were served within 18 minutes.
The sweet and sour pork was decent, while the crab meat homemade beancurd was delicious. The broth had a texture similar to shark fin soup, and I could see small chunks of crab meat in it.
The total bill came to RM77.85.
However, with the Grab Dine Out deal at 25% off and the 30% Off CNY Deals promo, I only had to pay RM40.87. (If shared between two people, it would be around RM20+ per person with this promo.)
I found it worth it because the portion was too much for me, so I packed the remaining food to have later as my late-night supper or dinner. After that, I went to watch Creation of the Gods II: Demon Force at TGV Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The cinema was spacious and comfortable.
Later at midnight, I took away some food from Bai Wei Mini Bowl Sri Petaling and enjoyed it along with my leftovers from Fei Fei Crab at home.
I would definitely return for the next promotion if it’s still available to try their crab dishes next time.
