During the afternoon, I continued exploring Grab’s 30% off CNY promo since there were only 2 more days left. I stumbled upon One Bowl Lamian Noodle Lanzhou China Restaurant, which is part of the promo.

It’s located just opposite the Le Shrimp Noodle Bar at the Pavilion Damansara Heights branch, a place I covered in a previous post. It took me about 18 minutes to drive there in the afternoon. When I arrived at Damansara City Mall (DC Mall), I noticed it wasn’t very crowded.

This was also my first time visiting DC Mall, which is right opposite Pavilion Damansara Heights (PDH). At the entrance of One Bowl Lamian Noodle Lanzhou China Restaurant, a giant, lifelike display of their signature noodle dish, complete with animated chopsticks lifting strands of noodles, instantly caught my attention, as shown below.

After being seated, I ordered the hand-shredded chicken noodles but skipped the drinks.

The noodles arrived after a 12-minute wait, and I added a bit of Mala chili from the table to enhance the flavor.

It definitely made the dish tastier. The actual bill came up to RM19.50 after tax (though I’m not sure why the printed receipt didn’t show the tax breakdown).

With Grab’s 15% Dine Out + 30% CNY Deals discount, I only had to pay RM11.60.

It’s my second time having Lanzhou noodles, and I still remember my first post about Lan Zhou Mee Tarik near Petaling Street. The only difference is that this place doesn’t offer unlimited free refills of noodles, unlike the Lan Zhou Mee Tarik Restaurant at Jalan Sultan, which provides unlimited free refills and open until 7am, making it a perfect spot for KL supper!
