During the night, I decided to make use of Grab’s 30% off Weekend Deals voucher. While browsing, I discovered that El Meson at Jalan Telawi was offering 25% off the total bill through Grab’s Dine Out deal.
Upon arrival, I realized El Meson was closed.
So I ended up at The Social Bangsar instead, as they also had a 25% off deal under Grab Nearby Deals since I wasn’t in the mood to drive elsewhere.
The café boasts a warm, modern vibe with cozy lighting, sleek black countertops, vibrant yellow stools, and an inviting bar setup perfect for relaxed hangouts.
Browsing through their menu, I ordered a honey lemon tea and Nyonya curry laksa with mixed mee and bee hoon since it was the most affordable option. Both drink and food arrived within 15 minutes.
The curry laksa was decent, and the honey lemon tea was refillable. It had been years since my last visit here when I was still working at an agency.
The total bill came to RM45.25.
However, with Grab’s 25% Dine Out deal plus the 30% Weekend Deals promo, I only paid RM23.76.
Overall, it was a great experience, bringing back nostalgic memories of the good times I had here in the past. After that, I drove to TGV Sunway Pyramid to watch two Chinese New Year movies: CLOSE UR KOPITIAM 关你茶室 and OMG! MOM’S BIG NEWS | OMG! 阿妈有喜.
