First Overseas Branch @ Lucky Cup Puchong Jaya

During the evening, I dropped by Lucky Cup Coffee at Bandar Puchong Jaya to see what the hype was about. This is their very first overseas branch, and it officially brings the famous China coffee brand into Malaysia.

The concept here is simple: affordable coffee, tea, and even ice cream, all served in a bright and modern café setting. Prices are really attractive compared to the usual coffee chains. Drinks start from RM3.50 for coffee and go up to around RM8, while a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream is only RM1.50.

From the menu, some of the best sellers include the Coconut Latte (RM7), Mixed Berry Tea (RM2.50), Mocha (RM8), and the refreshing Strawberry Sundae (RM4). If you’re looking for something playful, the Matcha Lucky Frappe (RM7.50) is also highlighted as a crowd favourite.

For those who prefer something simple, you can still find classics like Espresso, Americano, and Café Latte, while tea lovers can go for Vanilla Lemon Tea, Strawberry Tea, or Passionfruit Tea. It’s a mix of both serious coffee options and fun, Instagram-worthy drinks.

Besides drinks, Lucky Cup also serves cakes and pastries. Options include the Tiramisu Cake (RM9.90), Red Velvet Cake (RM8.90), Lucky Cheesecake (RM8.90), and a colourful Lucky Rainbow Cake (RM8.90). For something lighter, they also offer croissants starting from RM4.90 and a Cheese Chicken Croissant (RM7.90).

For my visit, I ordered the Lucky Latte (RM7) and a Strawberry Sundae (RM4).

Both were served quite fast within 5 minutes. The latte tasted smooth and enjoyable even though I’m not really a coffee person, and the sundae was refreshing with just the right sweetness.

This Puchong Jaya outlet is just the beginning, with more branches expected to open in Malaysia soon. What makes it exciting is the possibility of Malaysia-exclusive items in the future, customised to local tastes.

Sometimes supper doesn’t need to be heavy. A cup of coffee, a fruity tea, or even just a quick RM1.50 ice cream is enough to end the night on a sweet note.

This post is mainly just a quick stop to highlight the arrival of Lucky Cup in Malaysia. With prices starting from RM3.50 for coffee, it feels like a fun and affordable alternative whenever I’m around Bandar Puchong Jaya.
