The nearest branch to me was Bungkus Kaw Kaw at Pearl Point Shopping Mall. It only took me 7 minutes to drive there and the stall was easy to spot after taking the escalator.
I asked the staff whether I could redeem the RM6 discount voucher together and she said yes. So I chose Milo Dinosaur as my drink and added on Nasi Lemak Sotong since the voucher required a minimum spend of RM10 to use.
The serving was quite fast. My food arrived in around 9 minutes.
It was my first time trying their nasi lemak and the sambal was surprisingly not very spicy. I think this is suitable for people who prefer milder heat. The sotong sambal tasted slightly spicier with a bit of lime sourness which was just okay for me.
It was a very filling session for me since I ate 2 plates.
The drink came in a cute “Ikat tepi” style packaging so you can take away easily if you cannot finish it.
The actual bill was around RM15 but I only paid RM4.90 after applying the free meal and the RM6 voucher.
You can definitely dine for free if you only redeem the original birthday set without add ons.
Overall the experience here was nice and their nasi lemak is not bad for a quick meal.
