With just three days left in 2024, I decided to take advantage of my birthday month promotion. This time, I headed to The Manhattan Fish Market at Mid Valley to redeem the free cake offer. All you need to do is sign up for an account on the Bites & Bites website before your birthday, and you’ll receive a voucher like the one shown below.
Upon arrival, I asked the staff if I could also claim the RM10 off voucher (with a minimum purchase of RM50). Unfortunately, they said it couldn’t be combined with the birthday and sign-up rewards. So, I decided to go with the Fish ‘N Chips Dory Fish.
The waiting time was about 15 minutes. Both the dory fish and mushroom soup tasted good, based on my experience.
After finishing my meal, I requested the waiter to serve the free birthday cake. The birthday promo featured a caramel ice cream chocolate cake, which I found a bit too sweet for my liking.
It had been quite some time since I last had a meal at MFM. Overall, the experience was okay, and I’d consider coming back if they offer the half-price promotion again during 12.12.
The final bill came to RM28.90 after tax.
