During the night, I finished work late and started browsing for any promo deals nearby. Somehow, I stumbled upon a 50% off promo for KO Restaurant & Bar on Eatigo, but it was only valid at specific times. I quickly locked in the 10 PM slot.
It took me around 18 minutes to drive to the TTDI area. At first, it was a little tricky to find the restaurant. Only after circling a bit did I notice it is located on the first floor, right above Klinik Algomedi.
Upon arrival, I gave the staff my Eatigo reservation code. They explained that the 50% discount applies to all food items except desserts and drinks.
The restaurant ambiance was cozy, with a red-toned interior and a menu focusing on Taiwanese cuisine.
I ordered their signature braised pork rice, dumplings in chili oil, and dry scallion noodles. The food was served within 20 minutes, which was reasonable for a late-night dine-in.
At first, I found the braised pork rice slightly salty, especially after mixing in the preserved vegetables.
I later figured out that it tastes better without mixing those into the dry scallion noodles. The noodles turned out just nice.
As for the dumplings, the chili oil gave them a real kick. A bit too spicy for me, but still tasty.
I could not finish everything, so I asked to pack the leftovers. Later that night, I cooked some additional noodles at home and mixed in the preserved vegetables. It turned out great for a simple supper.
The original bill was RM54, but after the 50% Eatigo promo, I only paid RM34.10.
I would definitely consider coming back, especially when the Eatigo 50% slot is available. Even if I cannot finish the food, it still works out nicely for a later supper.
